Islamabad, January 12, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 54% of Pakistanis report that the mosque nearest to their house is less than 100 meters away; only 4% report mosque being more than 1 km away.
A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “How far away is the nearest mosque to your house?” In response to this question, 54% said less than 100 meters, 23% said between 100 to 200 meters, 8% said between 200 to 800 meters, 7% said between 800 meters to 1.5 kilometers, and 4% said more than 1.5 kilometers. 4% did not know or provided no response.
