Islamabad, May 17, 2018 (PPI-OT): According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 45% Pakistanis opine that Ramadan this year would be more difficult than the previous year.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “In your opinion, how easy or difficult would this year’s Ramadan be from last year’s Ramadan?” In response to this question, 16% said very difficult, 29% said somewhat difficult, 38% said same as last year, 9% said somewhat easy, and 4% said very easy. 4% did not know or wish to respond.
Question: “In your opinion, how easy or difficult would this year’s Ramadan be from last year’s Ramadan?”
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1581 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, April 16 – April 23, 2018. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
