US Denim Mills Lahore-2nd and 3rd position by NTU-SOAD

Faisalabad, January 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):NTU Students’ of School of Arts and Design, participated in a graffiti competition organized by US Denim Mills Lahore on December 07, 2022. Dy. Director Job Placement Cell Dr Sharjeel Abid and Advisor Students’ Office facilitated the participation of NTU.

Eight groups from NTU were competed with other national HEIs of Pakistan. Among all NTU grabbed 2nd and 3rd positions along with cash prizes, well-done students!

Flood-2022 Relief Scholarship 

Lahore, January 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):FCCU has announced the Flood-2022 Relief Scholarship Initiative for continuing students from flood-affected areas. Over the past several weeks, the Financial Aid team (among others) has received a number of petitions as well as letters of concern from students whose household incomes have suffered due to the catastrophic flooding which affected many parts of Pakistan earlier this year.

In particular, this assistance will help those students who have outstanding fees pending for spring 2022 and earlier periods who have experienced the following situations:

Business/Income Decline/Job loss due to Flood-2022, whether experienced by the student or a fee-paying parent or guardian

Household damage due to Flood-2022

Extensive health bills faced by immediate family members on account of Flood-2022 and/or its aftermath

Death of earning family members, thereby significantly affecting family income.

Applications will be reviewed as soon as they are received (click here for the form). Once completed and returned to the Forman Financial Aid Office, the application will be reviewed by a committee that includes both academic and non-academic staff and has been charged with reviewing applications and overseeing the process.

Completed forms should be submitted to Room #15 (Ahmed Saeed Administration Building) between 9 AM and 12 AM. Deadlines for form submission are as below:

The University of Haripur in collaboration as a collaborator organized 2nd Pakistan International Food, Nutrition and Healthcare Summit and Expo in Pak China Friendship center Islamabad.

The aim of the conference was to highlight the issues and challenges for Pakistan’s Food-Nutrition and propose plausible recommendations for national sustainability. The 2nd Pakistan Food-Nutrition International Summit and Expo- 2022 highlighted the issues and solutions related to food, nutrition, its production, and the healthcare business.

IIUI Vice President inspects examination process 

Islamabad, January 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):On the directives of the IIUI President, surprise visits were made by Vice President Academics Dr. Ayaz Afsar along with Director Academics vat the male and female campuses where he inspected and reviewed the examination process. The Vice President at various examination rooms in both campuses was apprised about the arrangements and ongoing process. On the occasion, he was accompanied by officers of the exams, conduct session and other relevant officials.

During inspection visit, he reviewed examination process at exam centers and showed satisfaction over strict discipline at examination centers. On the occasion, he instructed the examination personnel to provide a comfortable environment to students during examination so that they can perform best during examination.

He advised the comprised committee to conduct visits on daily basis and ensure the smooth and disciplined arrangement of exams. During the inspection visit, Vice President also instructed the examination personnel to follow the devised procedure regarding conduct of examination at centers.

Event in connection with Christmas for Christian employees held at Female Campus 

Islamabad, January 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Office of the Vice President, Female Campus (FC) organized an event in connection with Christmas for the Christian employees serving at Female Campus. Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Vice President Female Campus, was the chief guest in the cake cutting ceremony. The event was attended by all the Christian employees of female campus.

Vice President FC praised all male and female Christian staff members for their efforts and dedication towards the Female Campus. On the occasion, she announced the top five workers. She appreciated their efforts and hailed the association they have showed to the university. Prof. Dr. Samina Malik mentioned that the idea behind celebration of Christmas is to encourage of Christian staff members. At the end, tea party was also arranged for the Christian employees of Female Campus.
