The University of Chitral and Karakoram International University Gilgit signed a memorandum of Understanding on 16th September 2022, at the Office of the Vice Chancellor, University of Chitral

Chitral, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah (the Vice Chancellor, University of Chitral) and Eng. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah (the Vice Chancellor, Karakoram International University Gilgit) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The objective of the MOU was the enhance Cooperation in Research and Academic areas.

Dr. Syed Abdul Khaliq Jan (Pro-Vice Chancellor, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal Dir Upper), Dr. Tasawar Baig (Associate Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Karakoram International University, Gilgit), Dr. Sajjad Ali, (Director Academics, Karakoram International University, Gilgit), and Dr. Muhammad Zafar Khan, (HoD, Department of Forestry, Range and Wildlife Management, Karakoram International University, Gilgit), Dr. Nadeem Hassan (Additional Director Administration, University of Chitral), Dr. Muhammad Romman (Deputy Director ORIC/ Focal Person Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, University of Chitral), Dr. Habibullah Nawab, (Convener, Oversight Committee, University of Chitral), Ms. Nahida Noor (Member, Oversight Committee, University of Chitral) were present at the occasion.

Outstanding Students- Quran Translation-II (QT-1002) spring 2022

Faisalabad, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):However, to keep motivated and engage student’s interest in Quran translation course SET encouraged the students. Therefore, the School of Engineering and Technology has been awarded the certificate of achievement among high achievers on Orientation Day October 10, 2022. The course was Quran Translation -II (QT-1002) from spring 2022. Parents and new students got excited to see these outstanding students.

Awareness session on Breast Cancer-WINGS

Faisalabad, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):WINGS Society invited Dr. Rafshan Sadiq, Deputy Chief Officer and HoD Oncology Department PINUM Hospital at National Textile University, Faisalabad to raise awareness and share her own experiences regarding breast cancer on 19 October, 2022. She educated the audience about breast cancer its stages and how can we prevent from this disease.

Students were also engaged in different activities to ensure the purpose of seminar. At the end of seminar our guest Dr. Rafshan Sadiq and Dr Isma Hamid, Convener WINGS Society distributed certificates among the members. Ms Nadia Shamim Asst. Director Students Affairs presented souvenir to Dr. Rafshan Sadiq.

Sapphire Diamonds Industrial Tour – Weaving Section

Faisalabad, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):A tour consisting of 2nd year students of weaving section lead by Dr Mumtaz Ali went to Sapphire Diamonds on 21st October 2022. Sapphire Diamonds is one of the leading fabric manufacturing industry of Pakistan. The students of NTU weaving section observed various sections (Spinning, Denim, Apparel and Weaving) of the Sapphire industry.

Weaving Society Convener Mr. Hassan Iftikhar Ahmed and NTU management is thankful to General Manager of the Sapphire Diamond Mr. Zulqarnain Ali and Syed Faraz Shahid for his open support to the students of NTU in this regards.

Welcome SET Batch 2022! – Day 2 Orientation Program’22

Faisalabad, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):The New Student Orientation Program Fall-2022 provides new students with information, resources, tools, and tips to help with their transition to NTU. It was held on October 10, 2022. Dr Yasir Nawab Dean School of Engineering and Textile gave a warm welcome to students and parents into an entirely holistic education system of NTU.

Further Ms Nadia Shamim Asst. Director Students’ Affairs explained to the students about university rules and policies. Student led-campus tour along with faculty and Orientation leaders (OL students) guided new students more about the cutting-edge facilities, resources and services present in National Textile University. Orientation 22’ was supported by Advisor Students Office and covered by NTU Media Club and Photography Society.

Welcome FBS Batch 2022! – Day 1 Orientation Program’22

Faisalabad, October 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Faisalabad Business School carried a program of new student Orientation Fall 2022 supported by Advisor Students Office. The purpose was to provide fresh students with information, resources, tools, and tips to help with their transition to NTU.

It was held on October 07, 2021. Mr Farooq Jamal Assistant Prof. paid warm gratitude to students and parents to join NTU. Dr Shahzad Iqbal HoD of Faisalabad Business School presented the map of the dynamic, vibrant and diverse life of university students.
