Phd open defines Department of Islamic studies

Bahawalpur, October 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Directorate of Public Relations, Islamia University Bahawalpur Department of Islamic Studies, Islamia University Bahawalpur PhD Scholar Farkhanda Farhat Open Defence of Research Thesis October 24, 2022, 11 a.m. Syed Salman Nadvi Auditorium, Faculty of Islamic Learning will be held at Baghdad Al-Jaded Campus.

The said scholar completed his research paper under the supervision of Dr. Abrar Mohiuddin Mirza, former Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies Department, and Islamia University Bahawalpur. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yusuf Farooqui, former Dean of Faculty of Sharia, International Islamic University Islamabad and Prof. Dr. Saeedur Rahman, former Professor of Department of Islamic Studies, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan will participate as external examiners. IUB Young Leaders Program under the leadership of Director CCPC Shahid Durrani met DC Bahawalpur Zahid Parvez Waraich

Bahawalpur, October 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Directorate of Public Relations, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur The participants of the first batch of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Young Leaders Program under the leadership of Director Career Counseling and Placement Center Shahid Durrani met Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Zahid Parvez Waraich.

The Deputy Commissioner gave a special lecture about the departments and challenges of the district administration. The Deputy Commissioner appreciated this initiative of developing young leaders in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur under the guidance and patronage of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. The delegation was also given a visit to the Computerized Land Record Center where the Revenue Center team gave a detailed briefing.

Mondelez International has donated Rs. 11 million to the PRCS for flood rehabilitation in Pakistan

Karachi, October 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh Branch received a donation of Rs 11 million from Mondelez Pakistan Limited today. The donations will be channeled to assist not just in the reconstruction of homes but also to provide sustainable avenues for families to rebuild what they’ve lost and to provide for their loved ones. Mondelez Pakistan Limited, one of the country’s most socially responsible corporations, has contributed cash and in-kind gifts to help families rebuild their homes and livelihoods in flood-affected areas of Pakistan.

Commenting at the occasion, Mr. Sami A. Wahid – Managing Director Mondelez Pakistan Limited has stated that Mondelez Changemakers is our global community involvement program that closely ties to Snacking Made Right and allows us to make an impact by giving back to community. These are trying times for a significant chunk of the population of Pakistan and People have lost their homes, livelihood and loved ones. Although flood waters are receding across the country, there is a lot that still needs to be done. As a nation and more importantly as an empathetic social entity, we at Mondelez Pakistan Limited are pleased to play a role with our partners doing the same for rehabilitation initiatives being carried out across the country.

A Seminar named as “Women’s Mental Health” was conducted by students of IAP BS-2 [Replica]

Lahore, October 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Organizers of this seminar were Mariam Waheed, Minahil Noor, Rimsha Imtiaz, Nimra Khalid and Mahnoor Fatima. Seminar was executed under the keen supervision of Mr. Rameez Ahmed (course advisor). Key points of Seminar were the problems that women have to face because of mental disorders. How mental issues of women are different at different stages of life.

Speakers shared their views about how in Pakistan, women have to go through more Mental pressure than men, because of societal norms. Stress relieving activities were performed and refreshments were served. At the end of Seminar, respectable Mr. Rameez Ahmed shared his views about how status of women can be improved in Pakistan at individual and macro level.
