Bahawalpur, October 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Directorate of Public Relations, Islamia University Bahawalpur According to the instructions of the government, Ushra Shaan Rahmatul Ulamain celebrations are going on in Islamia University Bahawalpur. Under the guidance of Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob Vice Chancellor, Naat Khawani and Seeratul Nabi (SAW) seminars are being organized in all faculties and campuses. These events are being organized under the auspices of Sirat Chair Jamia Islamia. The first event of this series was held at Ghulam Mohammad Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus.
In which students from colleges across the district participated. In this regard, a seminar was held in Syed Sulaiman Nadvi Auditorium under the auspices of the Department of Quranic Studies and the Department of Arabic. Which was presided over by Dean Faculty of Islamic Learning Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur Rehman. Prof. Dr. Rahila Khalid Qureshi, Chairperson, Department of Arabic, welcomed all the participants in the welcome speech. Special guest: Renowned religious scholar, author of more than 35 books the translator, Dr. Allama Syed Ziaullah Shah Bukhari was a member of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan, Chairman of Al Badr Foundation Pakistan, and Member of Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab.
Among the honoured guests were religious scholar Hafiz Osama Bukhari, Dr. Muhammad Imran, Chairman of the Department of Islamic Studies, Dr. Sujeela Kausar, Director of Sirat Chair, Dr. Abul Hasan Shabir Ahmad, and Chairman of the Department of Hadith, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, Advisor of Qur’at and Naat Society. Apart from a large number of PhD and MPhil scholars, other students and elders of the city also participated in the seminar. Dr. Muhammad Akram Al-Azhari performed the organizing duties in the seminar.
