Bogus rulers are guests for a few days, they will have to answer for their unconstitutional and illegal actions: Ch Parvez Elahi

Lahore, May 26, 2022 (PPI-OT):Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has strongly condemned the arrests and torture of MPA Mian Aslam Iqbal, his brother and several members of the Punjab Assembly and said that police violence against elected representatives is a matter of grave concern. The matter of the arrested members of the Punjab Assembly will be discussed in the House. As the House Custodian, I cannot remain silent on the arrests of the members of the Assembly.

He said that Punjab has been turned into a police state, police is being used illegally, members of assembly have been unjustifiably arrested by the police and their families have been harassed. Ch Parvez Elahi also lamented the inhumane treatment meted out to PTI leader Umar Ayub Khan. He said that the police tortured the elected representatives and PTI workers on the orders of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz. At the behest of bogus and unconstitutional rulers, the police resorted to cruelty and brutality.

Ch Parvez Elahi further said that the government cannot suppress the rising voice of the people by force, the bogus rulers are guests for a few days and they will have to answer for their unconstitutional and illegal actions. The bureaucracy should also keep in mind that breaking the law will make them accountable.

NEO NEWS HD Ramadan Transmission: Student Jamal Ahmed, participated in NEO NEWS HD TV Channel, Ramadan Transmission, “Paigham E Ramadan”, on 15th of April, 2022.

In this way, students continue their passion to show their best to mark the name of NTU.

Office of the Research Innovation and Commercialization participated in AsiaTex Exhibition

Faisalabad, May 26, 2022 (PPI-OT):Office of the Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) participated in AsiaTex Exhibition held in Faisalabad from 26 to 28 March 2022. AsiaTex is the regions’ largest and most successful technology exhibition with extensive response covering the complete range of textile machinery including garment, embroidery, and others.

Dr. Ahasan Nazir (Director ORIC), was the resource person to guide and to provide details to the questioners. Many technical persons from various industries and international exhibitors visited the NTU stall to discuss the projects and future collaborations. GCF and its impact were the most applauded aspects at the stall by the experts. Furthermore, the industrial focal persons showed keen interest in testing facilities offered by NTU.

Research and Technology Expo 2022

Karachi, May 26, 2022 (PPI-OT):Ziauddin University participated in the Research and Technology Expo 2022 held on 19th and 20th May 2022, organized by NED-UET and Sindh HEC. Adnan Jafri (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lead) and Ambreen Muzammil (Linkages and Outreach Lead) from Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization facilitated the ZU exhibitors at the Expo. Registrar ZU-Capt. (Retd.) Syed Waqar Hussain visited the ZU stall and appreciated the researchers and their projects.

The following projects were showcased at the Expo:

1. Modular Air Quality Monitoring System from the Faculty of Engineering Science Technology and Management-Ziauddin University

2. Speech and Language Therapy: EduLearn Tools (Materials + Website) Ziauddin College of Speech Language and Hearing Sciences.

3. Anatomage Table (For teaching MBBS students and professional doctors) from the Anatomy Department-Ziauddin Medical College.

4. Abstract concepts in science: Carbon -Hybridization from Ziauddin College of Education.
