Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at Faisal Masjid at 7:30 AM

Islamabad, April 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):Eid-ul-Fitr Prayer (after moon sighting) will be offered at Faisal Masjid at 7:30 a.m. As per details provided by Dawah Academy of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Professor Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General, Dawah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) will deliver sermon and lead the Eid prayer. A large number of faithful shall participate in the Eid prayer.

MOU Signing between DSU and International School of Business and Law

Karachi, April 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Chief Executive Officer of International School of Business and Law, Mr. Iqbal Shafi visited DHA Suffa University on 29th April, 2022. The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding in a ceremony on the day. This MoU was signed to jointly hold classes at Diploma Level in Law in the short term followed by a Degree Level Program.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Iqbal Shafi, DSU’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Haque, DSU’s Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas and Ms. Jessica Janet Jarrar, Director, Professional Development Center, DSU.

On International #LabourDay, #PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari links sustainable development to change in toiling workers’ conditions

Islamabad, April 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the dream of sustainable development in the country will remain unfulfilled unless the conditions of the toiling workers change.

In his message on the International Labour Day issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, the Chairman PPP and Foreign Minister extended his good wishes and greetings to all Pakistani workers on this May Day. He further said that in Pakistan, PPP has always been at the forefront in recognizing and promoting the rights of workers.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the ideology and manifesto of PPP is based on the welfare and progress of the workers. He said that the 1973 constitution piloted by Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto guarantees fair wages to the workers, protection of their lives and equal relationship with the employers, adding that the first ever Labour Policy introduced by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in the country is paradigm for the rights of the workers in Pakistan.

“The Benazir Employees Stock Option Scheme (BESOS), the first provincial tripartite labor policy introduced by the Sindh government during 2013-18 tenure, and the provision of land for landless farmers are just a few of the countless other steps taken by the people’s governments”, he pointed out.

PPP Chairman praised the current unity government for raising the minimum wage to Rs 25,000 per month. He said that the failed economic policies of the previous selected regime had severely damaged the national economy, making it difficult for the poor to survive, adding that despite such a difficult situation, the PPP stands in the field to protect the interests of the workers and bring them relief.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has assured all the workers and trade unions of the country that his party, following the ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the philosophy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, will continue to play the role as advocate and protector of Pakistani workers’ rights.

Lahore, April 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Youth Chess Team Qualifying matches were conducted under the supervision of FIDE constituted Organizing Committee in collaboration with Sports Board Punjab and hosted by Chess Association of Punjab.

Winner of each following categories have qualified as official players of Pakistan Team for the Western Asia Youth Chess Championship scheduled to be held in Maldives from 15th to 23rd June 2022.

University of Chitral will remain closed from 2nd May 2022 to 6th May 2022 

Chitral, April 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):It is notified for the information of all concerned that the University of Chitral will remain closed from 2nd May 2022 to 6th May 2022 (Monday to Friday) on the occasion of the Holy Festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.

It is further notified that the following office timing will be observed after Eid-ul-Fitr from 9th May 2022 (Monday):

Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
