‫گوئزو نے 2021 میں اناج کی پیداوار میں 3.49 فیصد اضافہ کے ساتھ بھرپور فصل حاصل کی

گویانگ، چین، 10 دسمبر، 2021/شنہوا-ایشیاءنیٹ/ — نیشنل بیورو آف اسٹیٹاسٹکس(این بی ایس) نے 6 دسمبر کو اعلان کیا کہ گوئزو  نے سال بہ سال اناج کی پیداوار میں 3.49 فیصد اضافہ کے ساتھ ایک اور شاندار فصل حاصل کی ہے، 2021 میں گوئزو کی اناج کی مجموعی پیداوار تقریباً 10.949 ملین ٹن تک پہنچ گئی ہے۔

کاشت کا مجموعی کا رقبہ 41.8155 ملین ایم یو (تقریباً 2.802 ملین ہیکٹر)  ہوگیاہے، جو سال بہ سال 1.22 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔

30 نومبر کو، گوئزو  صوبے کے محکمہ زراعت اور دیہی امور نے ماہرین کو سینان کاؤنٹی، گوئزو  صوبے کے ٹونگرین شہر کے آزمائشی کھیت میں سدابہار چاول کی پیداوار کو ماپنے کے لیے مدعو کیا۔

اس کھیت کے چاول کی کٹائی کا یہ دوسرا سال ہے اور اس کی پیداوار 843.3 کلوگرام فی ایم یو (تقریباً 0.067 ہیکٹر) تک پہنچ گئی ہے، جو گوئژو میں سدابہار چاولوں کی موسم سرما میں  کامیاب فصل کی نشاندہی کرتا ہے۔

اس سال اناج کی پیداوار اور پودے لگانے کے رقبے میں اضافے کے ہدف کو حاصل کرنے کے لیے، اناج کی پیداوار تمام سطحوں کی حکومتوں میں گوئزو  حکومت کی کارکردگی کی قدر پیمائی کے نظام میں سے ایک بن گئی ہے۔ ہر سطح پر حکومتوں کے رہنما مقامی اناج کی پیداوار بڑھانے کے ذمہ دار ہیں۔

گوئزو  صوبے کے محکمہ زراعت اور دیہی امور کے رہنما 1,000  ایم یو (تقریباً 67 ہیکٹر) کھیت کے میدانوں کے انچارج ہیں اور تمام سطحوں پر حکومتوں کے رہنما 108 نمائشی  کھیت کے میدانوں کے لیے ذمہ دار ہیں۔ اس کا مجموعی  رقبہ تقریباً 100,000  ایم یو  (تقریباً 6,700 ہیکٹر) تک پہنچ گیا ہے۔ اس اقدام سے مختلف علاقوں میں غذائی پیداوار میں اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

اگست کے بعد سے، گوئزو  کے مختلف علاقوں میں اناج کی پیداوار نے شاندار نتائج حاصل کیے ہیں۔ زونی شہر کی ژینگان کاؤنٹی میں،جنگلی جوار کی پیداوار 541.7 کلوگرام فی ایم یو (تقریباً 0.067 ہیکٹر) تک پہنچ گئی، جو گوئزو کی ریکارڈ بلندی ہے۔

سینان کاؤنٹی، ٹونگرین شہر کے شکرقندی کے اعلیٰ پیداوار والے نمائشی مقام میں، شکرقندی کی اوسط پیداوار 4327.9 کلوگرام فی ایم یو تک پہنچ گئی ہے، جس نے گوئژو میں ایک نیا ریکارڈ قائم کیا ہے۔

چیانگ ڈونگنان میاؤ اور ڈونگ آٹونومس پریفرنس کے شنگئی شہر میں چاول کی فصل 1123.87 کلوگرام فی ایم یو تک پہنچ گئی، جس نے گوئزو میں پیداوار کا ریکارڈ توڑ دیا ہے۔

بیجی سٹی کی نییونگ کاؤنٹی میں مکئی کی پیداوار 1059.1 کلوگرام فی ایم یو تک پہنچ گئی، جس نے گوئزو میں ایک نیا ریکارڈ قائم کیا ہے۔

2021 میں، گوئزو نے اعلیٰ معیاری کھیت کے میدان  بنانے کے لیے ایک پروگرام شروع کیا اور 2.5 ملین ایم یو  (تقریباً 167.5 ہزار ہیکٹر) اضافی کھیتوں کے میدان بنانے کا منصوبہ بنایا۔

اس پروگرام کے مطابق ،  ایک اعلیٰ معیار کا گرَین  اینڈ آئل اسٹیئرنگ گروپ  جو 93 ماہرین اور 2,256 سائنس اور ٹیکنالوجی کے نمائندوں پر مشتمل ہے ،کسانوں کو زرعی علم اور پودے لگانے کی مہارت سکھانے کے لیے کھیت کے میدانوں میں جائے گا۔

“کھیتوں کی زمین کو پودے لگانے کی مشین کے موافق   تیارکرنے” اور “کھیتوں کے لیے پودے لگانے والی مشینوں کو ان کے موافق ترتیب دینے” کے اصولوں کی بنیاد پر، 1.42 ملین زرعی مشینوں کے سیٹ اناج لگانے اور موسم بہار سے خزاں تک خوراک کی پیداوار بڑھانے کے لیے استعمال کیے گئے ہیں۔ گوئزو کی اہم اناج کی فصلوں کی جامع مشین سازی 41 فیصد سے بڑھ کر 43 فیصد ہو گئی ہے۔

مستقبل میں، گوئزو ماحولیات سے بھرپور فائدہ اٹھائے گا اور پیداواری وسائل کو معقول طور پر مختص کرے گا تاکہ اناج کی پیداوار اور معیشت کی ترقی کے درمیان ہم آہنگ ترقی حاصل کی جا سکے اور دیہی احیاء اور زراعت کی جدت سازی کے لیے ایک مضبوط بنیاد بنائی جا سکے۔

Awareness Walk held on the Eve of International Anti-Corruption Day at SALU 

Khairpur, December 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):An Awareness Walk in order to commemorate the International Anti-Corruption Day in line with the collaboration of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sukkur was held at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur organized by Character Building Society (CBC). Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages on behalf of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Abbas Shar, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences and Chief Patron CBC SALU Chapter, Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibupoto, Registrar led the walk. The walk started from the Main Gate of the Administration Block and it culminated at Central Library of the University.

Talking to the participants of the walk, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori said that it is our collective responsibility to fight against the menace of corruption from the society because teacher is a role model to teach the students about the ethical values. He appreciated the contribution of the Vice Chancellor for bringing transparency and accountability at the University. He remarked that NAB has recovered hefty amounts from the plunders.

Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari remarked that the efforts of NAB are highly commendable to stamp out the corruption, nepotism and irregularities in our country. The efforts of NAB are applauded in bringing the transparency and try to root out the practices of embezzlement, corruption in the society. Students are the agent of change; definitely youth will play their dynamic role in the eradication of corruption free Pakistan. He said that our faith is corruption free Pakistan. He said corruption has damaged the national fabric.

Mr. Ali Raza Lashari also shared his views and conducted the proceedings of the walk. Universiti Sains Malaysia invites Dr Aneela Maqsood to address webinar on crisis management and wellbeing enhancement 

Rawalpindi, December 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):In a seminar series at the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Dr Aneela Maqsood (head of department of Behavioural Sciences FJWU) delivered a talk on wellbeing enhancement as an emerging adaptive function of crisis management. She highlighted how the COVID-19 has put forward unique challenges in personal and social life spheres. Along with challenges, she deliberated on positivity which the pandemic has brought to us. We have seen facilitation for learning and interaction across borders in order to benefit from vision, experiences, and work worldwide.

She further discussed how all over the world understanding wellbeing from individual to collective level became a focus of attention. There has been increased emphasis on maintaining the mental health of different segments of the community as a global health challenge. At workplaces, the efforts to maintain and promote employees’ mental health became much more explicit than ever before.

The complex interplay of psychological, social and economic factors provided a unique understanding of crisis management and the associated reactions leaving lessons for the sustainable health promotion system in organizations. The seminar stimulated discussion on using different wellness interventions and coping strategies to enhance wellbeing.

Business Analytics Seminar

Lahore, December 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):The “Business Analytics” seminar for the Department of IT and General Courses, Faculty of Management Studies, was held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Webinar Hall, C building. Prof. Dr. Jamshaid Ahmed, Department of IT and General Courses, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Faisal Imtiaz Siddiqi, Director BS Business Analytics and Dr. Aslam Javed, Assistant Professor Mathematics, organized this seminar. The seminar’s Speaker was Ms. Quratulain Ibrahim, Managing Director of Reimagine Consultants and Former Country Head, Nielsen. Almost 95 students attended the session.

Dr. Faisal Mustafa, Dean FOMS, Prof. Dr. Jamshaid Ahmad, HOD IT and GC FOMS, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Faisal Imtiaz Siddiqi, FOMS Dr. Aslam Javed, Assistant Professor FOS, Mr. Basharatullah Malik, Assistant Professor, FOMS and Ms. Asma Perveen, Program Manager, FOMS were present in the seminar.

The session was very interactive. Speaker gave awareness about the importance of Business Analytics and research skills to the audience. Speaker motivated the students to excel in their skills in data analytics. She explained the national and international business and research examples of top-ranked business companies with real life. Data can help business better understand their customers, improve their advertising campaigns, personalize their content and improve their bottom line. The seminar was executed well. In the end, Dr. Faisal Mustafa, Dean FOMS, gave a souvenir to the honourable speaker.
