Karachi, December 04, 2021 (PPI-OT):All First Year Students of Batch 2021 of Undergraduate Programmes are hereby directed to submit following documents:

Original HSC (Part-II) Marksheet along with two Photocopies, (and other documents, if not provided)

OR

Original IBCC Equivalency and A-Level/12thGrade Marksheets along with two Photocopies, (and other documents, if not provided)

It may carefully be noted that the above documents must be submitted to the Registrar Office (Academic Section) latest by Friday 17th December, 2021, failing which your provisional admission is liable for cancellation.

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Hard Copy Submission Schedule 

Karachi, December 04, 2021 (PPI-OT):Higher Education Commission (HEC) offers scholarship titled as “Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Programme” to the deserving students of NED University covering tuition fee + stipend amount.

Interested students from First Year of Eng/BS/Arch may apply online at http://ehsaas.hec.org.pk and submit the print out of Ehsaas Scholarship Application Form along-with relevant documents in a proper file mentioning the student’s Name, Class, Discipline, Roll No. Batch and Contact / Cell Number in the title file in person at Student Affairs Department, NED University in the following allocated time:

Timings:

i. Room No. 1 Mr. Ali Faisal Panhwar (11:00 am to 12:00 noon)

ii. Room No. 1 Mr. Tauqeer Ahmed (02:30 pm to 03:30 pm)

iii. Room No. 6 Mr. Zeeshan Zaheer (03:00 pm to 04:00 pm)

Following students are NOT ELIGIBLE for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Programme:

i. Students availing scholarship from other source.

ii. Admitted under Self Finance category in NEDUET.

iii. Could not maintain their academic record.

Dead line of Application Form completed in all respect is 31st December 2021.

EHSAAS Undergraduate Scholarship Form Date Extended

Karachi, December 04, 2021 (PPI-OT):Higher Education Commission has intimated that submission date of EHSAAS SCHOLARSHIP Form is extended up to 31st December 2021.

Intending Candidates may submit online application form (http://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk/) as per procedure while printout of the same form along with supporting documents may be submitted to this office latest by 31st December 2021 positively.

However, criteria / requirement of the scholarship remains the same.

Delegation of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges Khairpur calls on Vice Chancellor

Khairpur, December 04, 2021 (PPI-OT):A Delegation of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges Khairpur Campus called on Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in his office. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto briefed them about the academic, research and development of the University. He said Pakistan and Turkey possess excellent bilateral relations on different dimensions. Dr. Ibupoto appreciated the role of Turkish Government for the promotion of education in Pakistan particularly at Northern Sindh.

The delegation consists on Mr. Huseyin Talih, Regional Director, Omer Aydin, Assistant Director, Osman Nuri Bayrak, Ms. Leyla Bayrak, Ms. Zudeyde Aydin and Syed Abdul Rehman Shah. Mr. Huseyin Talih, Regional Director Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges Khairpur Campus said Khairpur city is the beautiful place to impart education.

He said we have maintained friendly relations with the Govt. of Pakistan. He said we have recently sent 8 students to Turkey in order to pursue their education. He requested the Vice Chancellor that joint ventures are needed in order to work with Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur to organize different academic and co-curricular activities because this University has capacity to work jointly.

Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto assured the delegation that we will embark different academic and co-curricular activities at SALU for the cause of promotion of education and to maintain cultural and religious bond with Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges. The Vice Chancellor decorated traditional Ajraks to the guests and the souvenirs were also presented. Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibupoto, Registrar, Mr. Zohaib Memon, Secretary to Vice Chancellor and others were present.

Science Expo-2021 organized by the Department of Physics

Khairpur, December 04, 2021 (PPI-OT):In a bid to highlight the talent of Students of Final Year, the Department of Physics, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur organized One-Day Science Expo-2021 at University. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor inaugurated the Expo and visited different stalls and projects designed by the students as their final project.

Speaking to the students, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said it is happy movement for me to witness the different projects designed by the students pertaining to research and development and indigenous research. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that your talent is commendable, I am optimistic that you will contribute positively in the society.

Dr. Ibupoto advised the Chairman Department of Physics to coordinate with the Directorate of ORIC so the different patent could be presented and various companies may be taken on board to represent the innovation of students for community at large. Prof. Dr. Farman Ali Mangi, Chairman Department of Physics briefed the Vice Chancellor about the endeavour of the students. He said our students are talented and meritorious. It is evidence that they have prepared different models and projects related with the community.

The Vice Chancellor gave away the certificates among the students. Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Mr. Fayaz Hussain Mahar, Mr. Gulzar Ahmed Khoso, Dr. Deedar Ali Jamro, Mr. Ishrat Ali Mirani, Mr. Zohaib Memon and others were present on this occasion.

University of Education Observed International Day of Persons with Disabilities 

Lahore, December 04, 2021 (PPI-OT):The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was observed at the University of Education, Lahore. On this occasion, the Special Education Department of the University organized an awareness walk and seminar at the Township Campus, which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.).

Speaking to the participants, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) said that in any civilized society, people with disabilities are given the due respect and attention so that they can live their lives with self-confidence. There are laws regarding the rights of persons with disabilities in the country, but they need to be implemented in true letter and spirit. Dr. Pasha said People with disabilities have no shortage of abilities but due to lack of opportunities they become a burden to the society, family and themselves.

So, people with disabilities should not be considered inferior and be given equal rights and opportunities. The Vice-Chancellor further said that a special department for persons with disabilities has been set up at the University of Education, where highly educated teachers are imparting education and training. We should fulfill our moral and legal responsibilities towards the persons with disabilities to ensure success not only in this world but the hereafter.

At the end of the walk, Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) also inaugurated a lab at the university with the best facilities for the disabled. Many faculty members and students including Director Division of Education, Dr. Ayaz Khan and Chairperson Special Education Department Dr. Shaheen Pasha were present on the occasion.
