Empowering Digital Pakistan: H3C Embarks on Digital Transformation with Partners and Customers

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan, Nov. 20, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — H3C, a leader in digital solutions, recently rolled out its global virtual event, the H3C Digital Tour 2021, in Pakistan. During the event, Gary Huang, President of International Business and Senior Vice President of H3C, shared his insights on Pakistan’s digital transformation and its social impact with local experts, customers and partners.

Closing Ceremony of Coaches Education and Certification System Level-I Course 

Lahore, November 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):It gives me immense pleasure to inform that with the collaboration and support of World Athletics (WA) Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) organized a Coaches Education and Certification System (CECS) Level – I Course from 9-20 Nov 2021 at Punjab Stadium Lahore.

Twelve days CECS Level – I course has been concluded today. The participants of course gain a lot of knowledge from this course. On the occasion of Closing Ceremony of course Maj Gen (R) Muhammad Akram Sahi, President Athletics Federation of Pakistan / Vice President Asian Athletics Association distributed the certificates among the participants of course.

It is further apprised that twenty-seven (27) coaches from all affiliated units of AFP attended this course. Mr. Tariq Mehmood Sidhu and Mr. Talha Iftikhar (CECS Level – I qualified lecturers of World Athletics) conducted this course.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Arranged a Motivational Lecture for its Scouts 

Bahawalpur, November 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):IUB Scouts Group, Directorate of Students Affairs arranged a motivational lecture for its scouts on 16-11-2021 in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Chief Guest was senior scout leader Mr. Maqsood Ahmad Chughtai, who is also an author of 21 books, a professional motivational speaker, renowned world hiiker, international biker, businessman, tour operator and bank auditor.

Mr. Chughtai shared his experience with the scouts regarding motto of scouting, sightseeing in limited resources, and career management. IUB Scouts Group presented flowers to the guest as a gesture of thanks, whereas Mr. Chughtai presented his books to Dr. Ammar (Advisor IUB Scouts Group, Associate Professor) and Mr. Imran Tipu (Associate Lecturer).

43 bonded labourers released from Khuzdar after HRCP petition 

Quetta, November 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):Following a petition filed by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), 43 bonded labourers were released in Ornach in the district of Khuzdar, where they had been working for a local landlord as agricultural labour. The labourers are from Hyderabad’s Hindu community, where a relative had approached HRCP’s Hyderabad office to lodge a complaint concerning their situation. The complaint was then forwarded to HRCP’s Quetta office.

Subsequently, HRCP filed a petition with the Balochistan High Court, where a division bench comprising Justice Hashim Khan Kakar and Justice Nazeer Ahmed Langve ordered the deputy commissioner of Khuzdar to recover the labourers and produce them before the court. Following this, the high court directed that they be returned to Hyderabad.

MoU signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Wuhan Textile University China YonPing Huang

Bahawalpur, November 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):Memorandum of Understanding for Art, Textile Design and Fine Arts was signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Wuhan Textile University China. The memorandum was signed by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Vice President Wuhan Textile University China YonPing Huang.

Under the agreement, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur College of Art and Design in collaboration with Chinese University will conduct textile design, art production and exchange, joint research, lectures and research activities. In addition, there will be exchange of students at undergraduate and graduate level. Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages Prof. Dr. Javed Hassan Chandio, Director International Links Dr. Abid Shehzad, Principal College of Art and Design Maria Ansari and Farjad Faiz were also present on the occasion.

A Delegation of Female Faculty Members met with President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bahawalpur 

Bahawalpur, November 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):On the directions of Worthy Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, delegation of female faculty members including Dr. Ayesha Shoukat, Dr. Samar Fahd and Ms. Kalsoom Akhtar met with Ms. Rabia Usman Khan, President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bahawalpur and her team.

During this meeting, many points were discussed including collaboration on management and commerce students, grants for female entrepreneurial ideas and mental wellbeing of the students and employees of IUB. Ms. Rabia Usman is a well-established entrepreneur by herself and was interested in signing an MOU with IUB regarding providing career counselling to students from professionals to students of IUB. University officials discussed on collaboration of chamber of commerce with IUB and in exploring further avenues to Support specifically female graduates of university.
