Selected Government is violating the human rights and snatching away the democratic rights from people of Pakistan: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Tando Allahyar, August 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the selected government is attacking the public rights from all sides as human rights are being snatched and democratic rights are robbed. He further said that the schedule of the protest campaign against injustices committed by the incumbent federal government will be announced tomorrow (Sunday).

Addressing the workers conventions at Manzoor Khan Pitafi village and at Bachani House in Tando Allahyar, PPP Chairman urged his party workers to gear up for the protest movement against the current incompetent and most failed government in the national history, adding that the Jiyalas would protect the federation and would not allow anyone to commit injustice to any of the province.

Giving the details about the protest campaign, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that said that the meeting of PPP’s Sindh chapter would be held tomorrow (Sunday) in Hyderabad, during which the strategy for the protest campaign would be finalized. While criticising the PTI-regime, Chairman PPP said that people of Punjab are suffering injustice under the rule of a puppet Chief Minister, but such injustices are not highlighted. He further said that robbing the NFC is not only injustice to the Sindh, it is a plundering of the rights of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan too.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that a few days ago, the Selected-government celebrated the completion of its three years catastrophic rule. During these three years, the masses have only suffered, who had never ever experienced such miseries before. “The real face of “the Tabdeeli Sarkar” is anti-public, historical inflation and unemployment”, he maintained.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari pointed out that during the term of PPP’s previous government, there was a worldwide economic crisis, but the People’s government still launched the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), and increased salaries and pensions, adding that the government led by then president Asif Ali Zardari increased pensions by 100 per cent and the salaries of soldiers by 175 per cent. “Pakistan Peoples Party neither leave its soldiers or people helpless, he added. He questioned that how much has the incumbent government increased the salaries of soldiers?

Chairman PPP said that his party is popular among the masses that it is the party which creates jobs whenever come into power. “Benazir Aaeygi, Rozgar Laaygi (Benazir will come, will bring jobs). Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto not only provided jobs to youths in the country, he also opened new avenues for jobs abroad by providing free passport facility to every Pakistani. Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto gave jobs to the people during every tenure of her government. During the rule of President Asif Ali Zardari, all previous records of providing employment to the people were broken”, he pointed out.

Chairman PPP said that the incumbent government of Khan Sahib, which was supposed to create 10 million jobs, is snatching jobs from those who are already employed. This government is doing all the things that Musharraf wanted to do, but failed. 10,000 employees of the steel mills have been laid off, and 16,000 employees, who were reinstated under an act passed by the parliament, are being stripped of their jobs on a court order. He further said that Imran Khan had promised to give 5 million houses, but in the name of encroachment, the houses of the poor were demolished, while the Bani Gala was regularized.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari pointed out that Transparency International has mentioned rightly in its report that the Imran Khan-regime is the most corrupt government in the history of Pakistan. While rolling up the future course of his party’s provincial govt in Sindh, the PPP chairman said that in order to solve the problems of the people in Sindh, the Chief Minister Sindh and his team would start holding “Khuli Kachehris” across the province from tomorrow, and such first activity will be held in Karachi.

Meanwhile, addressing Workers’ Convention at Bachani House, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that whenever there is an undemocratic government, they suck the blood of the people and their rights are robbed. Since this regime has come, unemployment, poverty and inflation have increased. Inflation in Pakistan is even higher than in Bangladesh, and the war-affected Afghanistan.

He further said that if “Khan Sahib” has any success in 3 years, it is historical poverty, it can be historical unemployment, and if there is any achievement, it is historical inflation. Addressing the PTI government, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “You can celebrate now, but when the people’s turn will come in the shape of vote, they will support the PPP and drive out the incompetents”, he concluded.

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited Pitafi House to offered condolence on the demise of late Manzoor Pitafi, former member of PPP Sindh Council, with the bereaved family. Chairman PPP extended his condolences to the brother of deceased Bux Ali Khan Pitafi, son Ijaz Pitafi and nephew Imdad Pitafi and Zaheer Pitafi. Pakistan Red Crescent distributed bicycles equipped with emergency response kits among volunteers

Karachi, August 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) Sindh Branch launched a project called “Volunteers on Wheels”, and distributed 50 bicycles equipped with emergency kits to its volunteers on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Red Crescent Medical Gurumandir, Karachi.

The Provincial Secretary of PRC-Sindh Kanwar Waseem stated during the ceremony that the primary goal of the distribution of bicycles is to provide easy, healthy, and environment-friendly mobility to the local emergency response teams of Red Crescent Volunteers in urban and remote areas.

He said that because of the densely populated areas and traffic congestion in Sindh’s bigger cities, even ambulances and fire brigades have difficulty reaching incident locations on time. “Local volunteers of PRC Sindh are stationed in their districts and towns, and these bicycles would enable them to have better access and faster response,” said the Provincial Secretary.

Dr. Majid Alvi, Honorary Treasurer, PRC-Sindh, thanked the Pakistan Red Crescent National Headquarters, IFRC and the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) for providing these bicycles. Dr. Alvi further said that we have distributed these bicycles to our volunteers in all seven districts of Karachi to utilize this facility safely and efficiently to increase reach and connectivity to the most vulnerable.

“These bicycles are equipped with first aid and emergency kits, so that our volunteer can provide first aid to the people in need,” said Dr. Ali Warsi, Member of Managing Committee, PRC-Sindh. The event was attended by a large number of Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh staff and volunteers. Finally, volunteers on bicycles took part in a cycling exercise around Mazar-e-Quaid.
