Islamabad, November 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 2 people did not spend any time using Facebook in the past few days.
A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “Keeping in mind the past few days, can you please tell me how much time did you spend using Facebook?” 55% said that they had not spent any time using Facebook, 15% spent 1 hour, 16% spent 2 hours, 6% spent 3 hours, 1% spent 4 hours, 2% spent 5 hours and 6% said that they spent more than 5 hours using Facebook in the past few days.
On average, males spent 3 hours using Facebook while females spent 2 hours using Facebook. If we look at the age break-down we can see that all the younger age groups spend 3 hours on average using Facebook, while the older age group of 50+ year old’s uses Facebook for 2 hours on average.
