Larkana, February 06, 2023 (PPI-OT):In order to express solidarity with people of Kashmir, Bazm-e-Pakistan Society Sindh University Campus Larkano arranged one-day Seminar on the theme of “Right of Self-Determination for the people of Kashmir”. Bazm-e-Pakistan Society office bearers President Mr Kabeer Ahmed, Secretary Ms Aleena Memon, Joint Secretary Mr Azadar Hussain, Media Secretary Mr Waqqar Jagirani, Treasurer Ms Asiya Kanwal along with HoDs Dr Nadeem Kanasro, Mr Hussain Ali Kunbhar, Seminar Coordinator Ms Hina Shah, Incharge Director QEC Mr Abdullah Shaikh, Incharge Director STAGS Mr Raheem Bux Mugheri and other faculty members, staff and a good number of students actively participated in the event.

Bazm-e-Pakistan society warmly welcomed all the honourable guests and participants and spoke about patriotism, Kashmir issue and youth. They defended and endorsed the right of self-determination of Kashmiris that as a one nation we are with them. It’s also our core responsibility to love and support our brothers and sisters who lived and suffered from various problem in Kashmir. Speakers reiteted and emphasized audience that its our moral duty, on humanitarian ground, we have to speak on freedom of Kashmiris.

On one side, these Kashmiris are owners of the land, now they became slave of same land where 11 lakh Indian Armed forces ruled over cruelly on them. On the other side, Pakistan Army, who fought different wars, fought against terrorism inside the country, always support the country in rainy days, along with State of Pakistan, is with them they are keenly and actively observing the situation and ready to take any action against Indian Army whenever needed.

Moreover, Kashmiris are fighting and protesting to get their rights. They are brave people, instead of fear of death, respect, hostage etc. they stand in front of Cruel Indian Army and raise the slogan Kashmir Banega Pakistan as a youth now it’s a responsibility of us to raise the voice based upon their capacity and capability and spread the voice via Social Media, internal Universities Committees or even support International Kashmir Cause Committee, so that our voice can be reached at International Countries, United Nations and other international agencies. Seminar ended with slogans Kashmir Banega Pakistan and Pakistan Zindabad.

Jamshoro, February 06, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Sindh University Officers Welfare Association conducted a lottery for the names of member officers for the payment of pension, in which 6 serving and their covering candidates and one retired and his retired covering candidate were drawn.

Vice-Chancellor Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Mohammad Siddiq Kalhoro cooked. In the ceremony held in the Senate Hall of the University of Sindh, the name of the spokesperson of the University of Sindh Nader Ali Mugheri came out in the first corner taken by the Vice-Chancellor, after which other lucky ones were Saima Naz Waghiu, Muhammad Bakhsh Leghari, Muhammad Ibrahim Mirjat, Sikandar Ali and Jamil Ahmad Bilidi.

The names came out. In this way, the names of Rashid Ali Salavat, Muhammad Ali Arsani, Waseem Ahmed Sheikh, Sikandar Ali Bardi, Ghulam Muhammad Sahto and Muhammad Salim Jatoi emerged as covering candidates. If any candidate is unable to pay the umri due to any reason, his/her place will be replaced by the nominated covering candidate for the umri.

Meanwhile, under the formula set by the Sindh University Officers Welfare Association, Vice Chancellor Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Kalhoro also selected one of the retired officers, in which the name of Muhammad Ali Khawaja emerged, while the name of Qamaruddin Leghari was chosen as his covering candidate came forward.

Sindh University Officers Welfare Association President Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah, Vice President Syed Ehsan Shah Rashidi, General Secretary Manzoor Ali Panhoor, Joint Secretary Mir Ahmad Ali Talpar, Press Secretary Taslim Hasan Mirza and Finance Secretary Pir Bakhsh Bajir were present in the ceremony. A large number participated.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr. Kalhoro congratulated all the happy officers and said that the officers should remember Sindh University Jamshoro, their relatives, loved ones, friends and especially the country in their prayers so that the country gets out of the current crisis.

Larkana, February 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):Sindh University Campus Larkano Organized A course titled “Database Development with Oracle ADF, Oracle Apex, Oracle OAF, Oracle Database and JDeveloper 12c” under the leadership of Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Azhar Ali Shah for the final year students of Computer Science. A day-long workshop was organized, in which Parvez Ahmad Tunio, working as a senior ADF and Apex developer in Muscat, He gave a detailed briefing to the students on the futures of technology and hard work, insisted on doing.

Speaking on this occasion Parvez Ahmad Tunio said that technology is progressing day by day and introducing new futures every day, so the youth should acquire practical skills that will help them in the future. To live a happy life, this is the age of technology, urge the youth to improve their techniques instead of any useless gossip, so that they can reach a destination, compared to Pakistanis, Indian citizens are performing important feats in technology. But we also have to pay attention so that the name of Pakistan can shine all over the world.

Jamshoro, February 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):University Sindh Jamshoro has organized to celebrate “Kashmir Day” tomorrow, February 3, to express solidarity with Kashmiris, as Sunday, February 5, is a holiday in connection with Kashmir Day. In this regard, the Director Bureau of Stags, Dr. Ghazala Panhour, has said in a statement that a ceremony will be held on February 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the Sheikh Ayaz Auditorium of the Arts Faculty Building, in which Sheikh Al Jamia will be held. Sindh Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro will address.

Jamshoro, February 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):Sindh University Jamshoro team won the second position in the 15th All Pakistan HAC Inter-Varsity Chess Championship organized by Dow University of Health Sciences. Teams from 24 universities of Pakistan participated in this championship organized in collaboration with Higher Education Commission Islamabad. In the championship, competitions were held between 4 groups consisting of 6 teams each.

3 in the competition, Islamia University of Bahawalpur team 2 against one, Government College University Hyderabad against 3, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore team 2 against one, Iqra University Karachi in the quarter finals.

The team won the second position in the championship by defeating the team of 2 rounds against one and in the semi-final against Namal University Islamabad by 2 rounds against one. The Sindh University team players included Abdul Mairaj, Muhammad Najmuddin, Syed Saram Wasti and Suresh Kumar, who participated in the championship under the leadership of Director Sports (Boys) Ajved Ahmed Bhatti.

On the other hand, after securing a good position in the championship, the players of the chess team along with Director of Sports (Boys) Ajved Ahmed Bhatti met the Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro in his office and showed him the runner-up trophy. Vice Chancellor Dr. Kalhoro expressed his happiness on the success of Sindh University’s chess team and congratulated the director of sports and the players of the team.

Larkana, February 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):According to the statement issued by the PRO of Sindh University Campus Larkana, Atif Rafiq Simu, the FCSS exam was taken from the candidates for various posts by the Federal Public Service Commission in the auditorium hall of Sindh University Campus Larkana. In this regard, Interim Chairman of FCSC Major General (Retd) Syed Abid Hasan reached Sindh University Campus Larkana and visited the examination hall along with Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Azhar Ali Shah and Assistant Chancellor Larkana Shahida Jamro and also interacted with the students.

On this occasion, Acting Chairman of Federal Public Service Commission Major General (Retd) Syed Abid Hasan said that the FCSS trainings are going on in Larkana, in this regard he came here to review the arrangements and also asked the children. Met and asked about their difficulties regarding the paper. He further said that the environment of Sindh University Campus Larkana is very good, the field of education is very vast and more attention needs to be paid to it, in this regard, good work is being done by the educational institutions.
