Lahore, August 31, 2017 (PPI-OT):Addressing a meeting held at Mansoora to review the preparations for the JI Ehtisab March on September 11, Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, said on Thursday that the JI would continue to chase the plunderers, the thieves and corrupt rulers till the recovery of the public money from them.
Sirajul Haq said that the Ehtisab March would prove a milestone for the eradication of corruption and the accountability of the corrupt mafia and would expedite the Corruption Free Movement. He said that instead of controlling corruption, NAB had become facilitator of corruption and added that until and unless the Accountability Courts discharged their duty, the present system of loot and exploitation could persist.
The JI chief said that the common man in the country was deprived of the basic facilities of health, education and jobs while the corrupt rulers had built palaces inside the county and abroad with their ill-gotten wealth. He said these people were making a mockery of the law and the constitutional institutions but there was none to lay hands on them. The meeting was attended by JI Deputy Chief Mian Muhammad Aslam, acting JI Secretary General Hafiz Sajid Anwar and JI Information Secretary Amirul Azeem.
