Lahore, September 07, 2017 (PPI-OT):Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has tasked the JI Youth Women wing to enrol one million members all over the country stating that the cooperation of the women folk was imperative for building a corruption free and beautiful Pakistan. Addressing the Azadi festival held under the aegis of the JI Youth Girls wing at Nishtar Hall, Peshawar on Thursday, he said that the women folk had an important role in evolving an Islamic society.
He said that the Turkish women had played an important in Turkish politics and the Pakistani women would have to play their role in bringing about an Islamic revolution in the country. While condemning the genocide of the Burmese Muslims, Sirajul Haq gave a one day notice to the Pakistan government to extricate the Burmese Ambassador in the country failing which the JI would cross the Red Line during its protest against the brutalities being committed against the Burmese Muslims, tomorrow.
The JI chief said that the eyes of the oppressed Muslims all over the world were on Pakistan but this country could not play its due role unless it had a committed and a bold leadership. He said that the tales of the inhuman treatment being meted out to the Rohingyas filled one with horror but the world community was a silent spectator.
He said if the Turkish President and his wife could visit Burma and express their sympathies with the Rohingyas, why could the Pakistani rulers not do that. Sirajul Haq reiterated that the JI did not believe in the politics of the gun. Instead, it believed in bringing about a resolution through vote. He said the JI wanted to build a society where the women could their share on the basis of their population. The function was also addressed by JI provincial chief Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, JI Youth Girls wing chief Dr Rukhsana Aziz and deputy chief Dr Inayat Iftikhar.
