Rawalpindi, September 11, 2017 (PPI-OT): In connection with the death anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a photographic exhibition was held here under auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) showcasing pictures and historical documents pertaining to Quaid i Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to highlight different aspects of his life.
More than 100 rare pictures of the great leader were exhibited at the RAC art gallery in connection with his 69th death anniversary. Former President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce Malik Nadeem Akhtar inaugurated the exhibition flanked by Naheed Manzoor.
Addressing at the inaugural ceremony, Malik Nadeem Akhtar said the vision of Quaid-e-Azam is torch bearer to the progress of the country. He also lauded the great Quaid for his role in achieving a separate homeland for the Muslims of Sub continent. “We should focus on ‘unity, faith and discipline’ in order to make Pakistan a prosperous country,” he added. A large number of people from different walks of life attended the exhibition which would be continued for next three days.
