67% Pakistanis think that the risk of being caught while over speeding in the country is small: Survey

Islamabad, July 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, over two third Pakistanis (67%) think that the risk of being caught while over speeding in the country is small.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Risk of being caught over-speeding in Pakistan is small.” In response to this question, 36% said they agree a lot, 31% said somewhat agree, 22% said somewhat disagree and 7% said they disagree a lot. 4% did not know or did not wish to respond.

Question: “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Risk of being caught over-speeding in Pakistan is small.”

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1543 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, June 04 – June 11, 2018. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
