22nd Dr. M.A. Shah Night Trophy-2017

Karachi, June 08, 2017 (PPI-OT):Two more matches were decided in 22nd Dr. M.A. Shah Night Trophy, 2017 being played at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium Karachi organized by Asghar Ali Shah Memorial Sports Foundation collaboration of A.O. Clinic. In first match of group “C” Mujahid Gymkhana beat Jahanian Tigers Multan by 03 wickets. Jahanian Tigers bated first and scored 115 runs Saim Ayaz and Tehran Khan scored 29 and 23 respectively. Muhammad Nadeem and Muhammad Rashid took 2 wickets each. In turn Mujahid Gymkhana reached the target in 18.5 overs after losing 7 wickets. Farukh Aman scores match winning 44 runs n.o. including 1×4, 3 sixes. Muhammad Rashid made 35 with the help of 2 sixes.

In second match of group “B” Advance Telecom easily defeated SAICA Brighto by 25 runs, chasing target of 194 runs SAICA Brighto could manage to score 168 runs. The main feature of this match was fine batting by International Cricketer Mukhtar Ahmed who hammered 47 runs including 4 fours and 2 sixes. Asif Ali smashed 46 with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Jamal Anwar remains as for 27. Zeeshan Ashraf of losing side scored 60 runs. Ramiz Aziz of Advance Telecom took 03 wickets.
